- I was excited about this cookbook. I'd viewed a sample in my reader and liked the simplicity of the instructions and the color images included with each recipe. However, it was very disappointing to receive the paperback version to find that all the images are printed in black and white. WHY??? Dimension and details of the finished product are lost in the grayscale images. Also, I think this cookbook may be good for those new to Whole30 but is not ideal for new cooks. Its simple instructions omit steps that wouldn't be known or evident to a novice in the kitchen.
